Hoboken General store is a total hidden gem. It has that authentic old-school neighborhood vibe that’s hard to find among all the big chains. The staff is incredibly welcoming and they really make an effort to get to know their regulars. Their bagels are solid and the overall atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious-just a heads up that it can get busy during peak morning hours and lunchtime so give yourself a few extra minutes if you’re a Latino like myself you’ll feel right at home like mama made you your favorite home cooked meal. I’ve been coming here Since I moved to Hoboken a few years ago, it’s my go to spot to feel at home.

Best spot for breakfast in Hoboken. Every other place has let me down. It’s also priced reasonably, coffee, Snapple and sausage egg and cheese for $10. You can’t beat that! And the sandwich was great. I won’t go anywhere else but here from now on.
